We are still hard at work on our various film projects. We Wear the Mask has a fundraising site at www.indiegogo.com then search for We Wear The mask Who Will Speak for the Children,
I recent spend 3 great days in Atlanta with Dr. Vincent Harding as he went through his papers at Emory University. Made many amazing discoveries. We then went to Morehouse as we looked through Martin Luther King Jr.’s paper which contained many letter from Dr. Harding to King and from King to Dr. Harding it was very emotional for Vincent. As a filmmaker it was a highlight so far as was the time we had with former members of the Black Think Tank, Institute of the Black World.
This summer we spent time at the Horse track interviewing a wonderful Black Jockey and learning all about the back side of the track with wonderful trainers and groomers. This is for our film The Story of America’s First Athlete (Blacks in Horse Racing). Any help you want to offer to any of the project we would warmly accept.
